I’m a husband, father, student, future teacher, and emcee trying to live a life of reflection in action.

I have been making beats and writing rhymes since I was 14.

I freestyle in the car and beatbox while doing dishes.

I think about God a lot.

I work to connect my own sense of activism and agency in the Portland community with my music. Portland has an underground hip hop scene bent on building up the community, and I strive to be a part of that movement.

I released a seven-track extended play album in the Spring of ’09 entitled CR ep. It is a compilation of songs that had been created over a period of about four years. In order to produce something that was truly my own, I designed and executed the rhymes, the beats (with the help of cousin Eric on one beautiful track), and the packaging.

I am deeply committed to being the best student I can be in order to become the best educator I can be, and so school has taken precedent over music. But just you wait. It’s all going down this Spring.
